We have confirmed with the BLM our dates for the Rally in 2026, which will be October 16th-18th this year. Mark your calendars!

We will be following a similar formula to the first one, with a broad variety of guided rides on offer Saturday and Sunday, and a lively Event area for registration, vendors, food trucks, activities and music Friday and Saturday evenings.

We will fine tune our ride offerings based on what riders were looking for to ensure plenty of opportunities for the type of riding folks were looking for in 2025 and add more options at the Event area to ensure everyone enjoys their time off of the bike as well.

Look for Registration to open late spring once the rides have been finalized.

The trai1l begins on Trail #2 where riders will have a fun warmup through some good flowy dirt whoops, a few small ledges, and some sand whoops. Trail #2 will then meet up with the Western Rim singletrack where there are moderate amounts of exposure from time to time, but great views of the Colorado River as it traverses atop the canyon walls nearly the entire trail. The halfway point is at the end of Western Rim, where the group will ascend a technical hill that includes a couple switchbacks and some loose rock. The loop will return on the Kokopelli and Westwater Loop trail which is full width OHV the remainder of the trip.

approximately 18 miles north of the highway in Fruita. We will climb the Book
Cliffs and follow the ridge to the northeast allowing some amazing views of the
Grand Valley as well as the mountains to the north. The single track portions can
be best described as moderate speed “flowy” trails with surfaces consisting of
clay, sand, and some rock. A few areas will provide some exposure, but are
relatively safe for anyone will basic bike skills. Total distance will be slightly over
30 miles including the trails and return ride on the gravel road. From beginning to
end, we anticipate being on the bike between 3 and 4 hours depending on the
size of the group, and the speed of the slowest rider. Trails included: Coal Gulch
Road, Sarlacc Trail, Cicada, and Cloud City which can be found on the CoTrex or
OnX Offroad apps for reference.”

Beginning at the base of the Book Cliffs and riding up a buggy crawling route, you will quickly gain 2,000 feet of elevation. This will be the hardest part of the ride with some challenge-by-choice – you choose how many boulders to conquer! Once at the top of the Book Cliffs, we will transition into advanced singletrack that snakes through what was once the largest wildfire in Colorado. The trail will be mostly sand and dirt with periodic rock features to exercise your throttle, brake, and clutch coordination. This portion of the trail flows well and can be ridden with minimal foot dabs, unlike the earlier 4x4 crawling canyon. There will be uphill and downhill switchbacks, exposed narrow sidehills, some small log hops, and a stretch of narrow winding sidehill that has a few natural opportunities to get airborne. After one last overlook, we’ll quickly drop down and take a relatively easy ride back to staging on high-speed desert floor singletrack. This Extreme route includes most of the North Fruita Desert Advanced route with the crawler canyon added in.”

This loop will be a fast paced trail ride through some challenging sharp edged rocky terrain including ledges, rocky sand whoops, hill descents, technical moves. The route will begin by crossing the interstate headed North into the desert. The groups first singletrack technical singletrack will begin on Zion Curtain which is a fast flowy ride through the cedar trees which includes loose rocky sharp edged rocks, ledge drops, and hill descents. The trail continues on the Overlook Loop which has lots of sandy rocky whoops which will keep riders on their toes. There will be a short ride down a full width road descending into lower Rabbit Valley up to the Adobe Singletrack. Riders should be prepared for some ankle hieght rocks that may pull their feet off the pegs, and a few more ledge drops. Western Rim trail is next on the list which will be a fun, fast paced singletrack that skirts the upper rim of the Colorado River canyon giving off great views the entire length. To finish off the day the last trail will be Trail #2 which starts singletrack and ends as doubletrack, but is fast paced terrain with fun obstacles along the way. Riders should have good bike control and bike setup for running through sharp edge choppy terrain. This will be a great adventure that will challenge any rider.

This loop is jam packed with action! The start of this route will loop the Trail 8 section which jumps halfway from whoops to ledges but has a fun flow and vibe. The group will loop back past the staging area and make a run for the (Utah) border. The next notable trail, Western Rim, is a much tamer version of Trail 8, but ups the views of the Colorado River throughout the entire stretch. The route continues up a steep loose hill to the upper ridge of the valley. Up here there are lots of rocky whoops, sand, choppy rocks, and lots of brush and trees. To finish off this long stomp of a day, the group will go up Zion Curtaink singletrack which has 2 notable hill climb obstacles, and a large amount of choppy sharp edged rocks. Once clear of the Curtain, there is a nice and relatively smooth ride back to the staging area. This is a good loop for riders who are good with technical moves, body placement, clutch and brake control, ignoring exposure, skipping meals to afford tires, reading the technical manual to your bike before you go to bed…..great for enduro riders.
